Confidential or time-sensitive information should not be sent through this website or the email contact form on this website. The Rains Law Firm, LLC cannot represent you until the firm determines that there is no conflict of interest and that it is willing and otherwise able to accept your matter. Until The Rains Law Firm, LLC has informed you in writing that it is willing and able to accept your matter and you have retained the firm, do not email or send the firm any information or documents that you consider private or confidential.

As such, The Rains Law Firm, LLC does not guarantee the confidentiality or security of such communications between individuals and our law firm. Accordingly, such individuals acknowledge and accept the risk of inadvertent disclosure with respect to the content of any such communication between them and our law firm. The Rains Law Firm, LLC discourages the use of communication via the above-mentioned non-secure methods with our law firm. If a client or other individual chooses to utilize non-secure methods of communication, such individuals accept all confidentiality risks and consequences associated therewith.
Social Media Policy
Persons interacting with The Rains Law Firm, LLC may find profiles for The Rains Law Firm, LLC posted in various social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube, among others. While the law firm may be “friends” or “linked” or otherwise connected with individuals through these applications, The Rains Law Firm, LLC will not communicate with its clients about their legal issues through these applications. Clients who attempt to communicate with our firm using these applications will be directed to other methods of communication. The Rains Law Firm, LLC will respond directly to our clients’ communication within the secure Client Portal or through other means appropriate to the situation. The purpose of this policy is to avoid the unintentional communication of confidential client information through a non-secure and public online forum.
